You have been following my blogs and web columns for many years. You have been a loyal lot, and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart.

For the last ten years (almost), I have been blogging and opinionating out of Calgary, Alberta. Former Liberal/Conservative MP Garth Turner called me in fact one of the “leading bloggers and opinion-makers in the West”.

But now I’ll be commenting on anything that’s newsworthy from my former home turf again – Toronto, Ontario, a.k.a. the Centre of the Universe.

As part of this (colossal) change, I have also decided to bring back the popular WernerPatels.com domain – my blog and web columns, articles, features, etc. will now be found at this domain again (a top-level domain in Google searches, usually always in the top-10 and, more commonly, top-5 Google search results).

Thank you for following me (back) to this domain and site, and I hope you will enjoy reading about my thoughts and ideas for Canada and the rest of the world.
