Comment Policy

Comments that do not meet generally accepted editorial standards – such as those typically employed by quality newspapers or news sites – will be edited or deleted. Comments can be posted for up to two months following the publication date of an article. If you wish to send feedback on an article for which comments are no longer available, please send your comment by e-mail … it may be published.

Note: This site has been experimenting with different commenting features following reports from readers that the previous system had a hidden limit on the number of words/characters readers can post in their comments. As it turns out, that limit depends on the browser the reader uses, as different browsers have different input limits for text boxes.

As this site uses external plugin software for comments, it may happen, from time to time, that the comment feature is not available. In the event, this is the fault of the provider of the external comment feature and beyond the control and responsibility of this site.
