Parents, lock away your kids – the Austrians are going nuts!

Remember how Canadians were incensed by the Liberals’ proposition to implement a national daycare program, which would have saddled taxpayers with even steeper bills than what they’re already paying and even larger deficits in the future? If you thought that was a silly idea – that is, to take such critical decisions out of the hands of parents who normally know better than government – you may have to brace yourself and swallow your heart medication in case you have a faint heart, because what you’re about to read will shock you so much that it could send you into cardiac arrest.

Austria, which is still run by communists, although they hide under the labels of Green and Social Democratic, is facing a tremendous danger from the left yet again. The Green Party has proposed “mandatory kindergarten” for any child two years and older. Parents who didn’t comply would face stiff fines and jail. The governing socialists (read: communists) have expressed their approval for the Greens’ plan.

The People’s Party, nominally a conservative party, but after years in coalition with the socialists they have lost most of their conservative ideals, may go along with this outrageous plan as well, with just one party official calling it “state terrorism” of the sort found in the former Soviet Union.

Why would anyone want to remove children as young as two from their parents? For lefties, it’s always been about brainwashing the young. Catch them young, they say, and they’ll be malleable enough to be turned into good comrades in the future. This is why most teachers at all levels of education are lefties, so as to make it easier to spread a nasty and diseased ideology. The whole business of the global warming lie is merely one of many examples over recent years of how lefties invariably try to establish their arguments not through an honest contest of ideas but by brainwashing the feeble of mind as well as the young.

Imagine yourself as a parent, or if you are, think of the following scenario: your child has just turned two and, like 80 years ago when the (left-wing) Nazis knocked down people’s doors, you hear an ominous pounding on your door: it’s the authorities coming to collect your child for mandatory kindergarten. “No,” you say, “my child stays with me.” Big mistake, for next thing you’ll know is that they’ll issue you a fine, and if you fail to pay it, the next level of escalation will be jail – and regardless of what you do, they’ll eventually come and grab your child anyway, by force if necessary (because that’s the leftist way of doing things).

Is it any wonder that lefties always find themselves on the side of supporting radical and authoritarian regimes, particularly in the Muslim world, while vilifying Israel and other decent countries that would never dream of doing anything remotely similar to what constitutes a lefty’s wet dream? Look at lefty and fundraiser to terrorists George Galloway, who recently started a new job as Butt-Kisser and Brown-Noser At Large to the Iranian president. Galloway actually likes the idea of stoning people to death, and surely he’d love to grab people’s children when they’re barely out of diapers to mould and shape them into future comrades. And as we have seen in recent weeks and months in Greece, for example, the left never passes up an opportunity for violence, or even murder.

Thankfully, though, not all lefties are as deranged and “out there” as Galloway or those Austrian communists are. While there are plenty of left-wing and violent radicals in Canada, they operate on the fringes of society (i.e., for the most part, they are criminal elements) but are not represented in the mainstream parties. It would, indeed, be hard to imagine Jack Layton, leader of the NDP, musing about ripping two-year-olds out of their parents’ arms.

The difference between the left in Canada, or the U.S., and most of Europe is that socialists, such as those in Austria, still receive and take their marching orders from Moscow. The Soviet Empire isn’t dead yet, after all, as Russia demonstrates almost daily in the way it deals with its “near abroad” in an attempt to rebuild the Empire – which used to reach as far as Austria – and in many ways still does.
